As the winter holiday season has come to a close, people are preparing for their spring and summer vacations, which are ideal times for burglars to strike on empty homes and apartments across the planet.

Both the apartments and homes people leave behind when they go on vacation, and the vacation homes, or hotels are targets for potential theft.
