We ship primarily via UPS. Orders to PO boxes and military addresses ship via the US Postal Service. UPS and the US Postal Service do not pick up after 5:00 PM Eastern Standard Time (EST) Friday or over the weekend. All orders placed between Friday night and Sunday night will ship on Monday. Free Standard (Ground) Shipping on Orders Over $50
Free standard shipping excludes some oversized products. If your order is over the standard 20-pound (9.1-kilogram) weight limit, it is considered oversized and may require shipment in multiple boxes. Same-Day Shipping When You Order by 4:00 PM EST
The vast majority of orders ship the same day if placed by 4:00 PM EST. See the individual product page for any exceptions. All orders will be shipped within two business days.
Where to find shipping info on the product page
We ship most packages within 24 hours via UPS Ground. This allows them to be tracked and insured for loss or damage. If you would like us to ship by a faster method, you can select this option when you complete your order. If you place an order after 4:00 PM EST, we will begin processing it on the next business day. Processing can take from one to several days, depending on your product. Special orders and custom-made products take longer (see product page for details).
Delivery Signature Policy
Due to current credit card requirements, some BrickHouse Security orders may be shipped "Signature Required." If you cannot be at the shipping location for delivery, you can use UPS MY CHOICE. You may also contact UPS (800-PICK-UPS) to instruct the carrier to hold your package at their nearest location. Please keep in mind that UPS requires a valid ID for pickup.
PLEASE NOTE: if your order ships via Next-Day Air on Friday, it will arrive on the following Monday. Business days exclude Saturdays, Sundays, and Federal holidays. Estimated delivery time applies to in-stock products only (it is not applicable to pre-orders or backorders). If we must review an order for security reasons, it may delay the estimated delivery time.
Some products are shipped via Special Order, which may take a few days longer to process. We make our best effort to identify such products or contact you as soon as possible after your order is placed.
Thanks to our partnership with UPS, the majority of our vast inventory is available to ship worldwide. For international orders, we accept payments in the following forms: credit cards, debit cards, PayPal or money orders, which should be made out in US dollars.
After submitting your international order, you will be sent a verification e-mail, which will ask you a few simple questions to verify the authenticity of your purchase. Prior to processing your international order, we will have to verify your name and billing/shipping address with your credit card company. We may also request additional information to verify the authenticity of a purchase order. One of the simplest and quickest ways to process an international order is via PayPal, which is also the most reliable payment method.
To make your shopping experience more convenient, your shipping fee will be automatically updated when you proceed to checkout. It is important to note, however, that you may be subject to import duty or tax on goods entering your country and any of those additional fees are your responsibility. The amount of duty depends on the type of goods purchased and their assigned monetary value. Some items shipped internationally do not require you to pay any import duty. Regrettably, we are unable to control or predict changes in this realm of commerce. As a result, we will not be responsible for any additional charges associated with Customs clearance procedures.
Once your package has cleared Customs, it is then handed over to your country's local courier service and is given a new tracking number. We will not be provided with the new tracking number for the order. However, you can rest assured that your shipment will reach you in a matter of a few days. Due to the nature of the items we ship and the stringency of certain countries' Customs regulations, some items may take longer to clear than others.
Also, keep in mind that our products were designed and engineered to work in the United States. Most international power systems use a 220V/50Hz system whereas the U.S. and a handful of other countries use a 110V/60Hz power system. If you live in a country that does not use the U.S. electrical system you should purchase a power converter to prevent any complications.
In addition to credit card purchases, we accept payments made from Western Union and PayPal as well as U.S. Postal Service-issued money orders, which ensures anonymity when doing business with us, and avoids potential conflicts that could affect your package's delivery. If you choose Western Union as your method of payment, none of your personal information will be stored and no checks or receipts will indicate the site from which you made your purchases. With Western Union you avoid getting charged high-percentage financial transfer fees that are associated with other, less reputable service providers. With Western Union you pay a flat fee (usually $12) on all orders placed through our company.
To protect our customers' privacy, our products are packaged in unmarked, discreet boxes. If you are uncomfortable receiving your shipment at home, you have the option of having your package sent to one of our local shipping hubs or PO boxes. To help further protect your privacy, you may want to take the extra precaution of creating a secure email account. This allows you to store your purchase information separately from your personal email account. There are several free email service providers. For your convenience, we've listed a few below:
