This digital pen recorder is a great idea for anyone who regularly needs to record audio. Students recording lectures, reporters doing interviews or anyone who just needs an audio recorder handy will find this to be a very useful gadget. It can record and play back files through the standard headphone jack using its single control “nub.” Operation isn't difficult, but it can take some time to get used to the controls.
Recording is pretty impressive for such a small device. It's a great voice recorder for meetings or interviews, but not really designed for use outdoors or in large crowds, where it can have trouble filtering out background noise.
Oh, and it writes well.
