Returning Your Product

Returns

We want you to be completely satisfied with your BrickHouse Security products and are here to help.
Most issues can be resolved by a quick phone call to our Support team. In the rare case that a product isn't working or fails to meet your needs we'll quickly provide a replacement, exchange, refund or store credit.

Quick Steps to Request a Return/Exchange: If you are having a problem with your product simply follow the steps below.
  1. Call our Returns Hotline toll free at 800-242-3556 and tell us your issue; we may be able to diagnose and fix it during the call.
  2. If our Support team cannot resolve the issue, we will issue you an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization). Should that occur,
  • Pack and ship the product back to us
  • We will test and inspect the product
  • We will refund, offer you store credit, replace, or exchange the product within 15 days

Return Guidelines: In order for us to efficiently process your return please follow these guidelines:
  • Request your RMA within 30 days of receiving your product. You will be eligible for a refund for requests made within 15 days of receipt of the product. You will be eligible for store credit only for requests made from days 16-30 of receipt of the product.
  • RMAs will expire 10 days from the day of issue, and returns must be received by the approved shipping carrier to be returned to BrickHouse Security. It is best to save your tracking number for your records. You will be provided a prepaid shipping label only when an item is defective.
  • Send your item in a shipping box with an RMA clearly affixed to the outside. Without the RMA your return may not be processed.
  • Re-pack the product with ALL of its parts, accessories, and manuals to avoid restocking fees. Please pack the items to prevent damage in transit and keep the product's packaging in its original condition.
  • For your protection, please delete all personal data on products with SD cards, mini/micro SDs, and internal memory from any exchanged or returned products. BrickHouse Security cannot be held responsible for any personal data left on or in an exchanged or returned product.

Refund Shipping: Shipping and handling charges will not be refunded for any returned product.*


Warranty Exchanges/Defective Returns
For your convenience and peace of mind, all items purchased through BrickHouse Security are backed by our standard 90-day BrickHouse Warranty. We will replace or repair the item if it stops working within 90 days of the delivery date with a new or "like new" working item. To notify us of a defective product, please contact us at 800-242-3556.

Non-Refundable Items
Due to the nature of some of our products, some products cannot be returned and/or have return limitations. Please see the list below for the products that fall into these categories:

Items no Longer in Resell-able Condition: If item or item packaging is no longer in a resell-able condition then we cannot accept the return
Single-Use Devices: Items purchased for one-time use cannot be returned after the product has been used. These include GPS tracking devices and bug and camera detectors
Software & Services: All Software; activation and monthly service fees; and shipping charges
Potentially Contaminated/Exposed Products: I.e. Ear Pieces
Items that have been installed cannot be returned: I.e. Hardwired GPS Tracker
Items That Must be Returned in Original, Unopened Packaging: Pepper spray; fluid detection kits
Other Products: Made-to-order/custom-built hidden cameras and physically damaged items

Restock Fees
In rare cases we may charge a restocking fee. When we determine that the item is no longer in resell-able condition we may charge you up to 20% of the price of the item. This fee is to cover the cost of performing the work needed to make the item resell-able. This fee may be charged when there are missing materials, components or accessories or when the product packaging needs to be replaced.

Product Inspection and Testing
All of the returned items we receive are subject to an inspection/testing process. At BrickHouse, we are committed to high standards of quality; we test all defective items that are returned to us to improve our products' performances and our customers'satisfaction. Please allow us up to 15 business days to complete the inspection/testing process from the time we receive the item. Also, please note that any item claimed to be defective and found to be in good working order will be returned to you. In these cases you will be responsible for both the shipping costs to and from BrickHouse.
