"My Perverted Boss Was Stealing From Me!" (and how he was caught)

Six months ago I moved and started working at a large Kansas City accounting firm as an assistant to the vice president in charge of my department. About a week after I started I noticed things disappearing off of my desk.

At first it small things off of my desk such as pens, a stapler and other bits of stationary, then my personal belongings from my drawers started going missing. This really started to concern me, and what complicated the situation further was the fact that I suspected my boss that was stealing from me.

My boss was always the first person in the office, and I would never think it was the janitor – he´s too honest, also coupled with the fact that things started disappearing in the evening when it was only my boss and I in the office. I hoped it would just eventually stop, but it was getting almost to the point where there was nothing left on or in my desk.

Everything started disappearing, and finally when I noticed my extra pair of shoes, some make-up and stockings had disappeared from my handbag, I decided that that was the final straw.

Since I was the new girl in town, and new on the job, who were they going to believe? I realized I needed to gather evidence before I would even attempt to fight my case.
