The LOOP (10 foot) is a sensor device that can be used indoors and outdoors. You can think of it as an electronic bike lock that you can use to tie up your tools and equipment (such as backhoes, generators, ladders, etc.) If the LOOP is cut or disconnected when the tattletale alarm unit is armed, an instant alarm signal will be transmitted. The LOOP can be placed up to 2000 feet away from the alarm unit depending on structures and objects between it and the tattletale. The LOOP can operate normally between 0°F and 120°F and is completely waterproof. The 3V lithium battery included will typically last for 1-2 years. The LOOP can operate normally between 0oF and 120oF and is completely waterproof. The 3V lithium battery included in the Loop will typically last for 1-2 years. Using the LOOP Connect one end of the cable to the LOOP body. Hand tighten the threaded connector. Wrap the cable around a secure object and the item(s) you want to protect. Connect the other cable end to the LOOP body to close the LOOP.

EXAMPLE: Thread the LOOP cable around a backhoe and the bumper of your job site trailer. If anyone disconnects or cuts the LOOP cable and tries to take the backhoe the tattletale will send an instant alarm. NOTE: You may increase the length of the LOOP cable with an optional 20' cable Changing the battery

Disconnect the cable from one end of the LOOP.
Unscrew the end cap from the LOOP.
Remove the transmitter assembly from the LOOP housing.
Unfasten the velcro strap.
Remove the battery by tapping the carriage against your palm.
Replace battery with a 3V lithium cell type L123A. These cells are readily available where camera batteries are sold.
Fasten the Velcro strap.
Press the RESET button.
Insert the transmitter assembly and the dessicant packets back into the LOOP housing.
Hand tighten the end cap back onto the loop housing.
Reattach the LOOP cable.

Testing the LOOP Make sure that the tattletale is not armed. Connect and disconnect the ends of the LOOP while watching the zone lights on the tattletale . As you disconnect the ends of the LOOP cable the corresponding zone light will come on. When the zone light associated with your LOOP begins flashing rapidly you know that your battery should be changed. Transmitter Reset Button 3D lithium battery
