PowerVue 14 Mbps Decoder

The PowerVue Decoder is a "Plug and Play" adapter that when plugged into an electrical outlet converts the Powerline data signals from the AC wiring into a standard 10/100 Ethernet network connection via its RJ45 connector. This provides a flexible and affordable networking solution to any home or business. In other words, this adapter will create an "instant Ethernet LAN" anywhere there is an AC socket!

Without the need to run any new wires or cables, the PowerVue Decoder will transform the AC lines into a secure high performance in-building broadband network. Using breakthrough HomePlug compliant technology, this Powerline environment will deliver data transfer rates of up to 14 Mbps and supports up to 16 devices. By simply plugging it into the AC outlet, your digital data will be transmitted to other compatible Powerline and PowerVue devices with Ethernet speed and quality throughout the building.

For your video surveillance applications, this Ethernet adapter will allow you to use your own PC as a Powerline network based server for monitoring your cameras when the appropriate video surveillance software is installed.
