Monitor Vehicle Arrivals on Your Property
The Driveway Alarm Kit is used to detect vehicles on the property only, ensuring that you will not get false alarms about other movement, like humans or large animals like deer. The sensor is placed near the driveway, underground wiring is run for up to 50 feet to the transceiver which would be placed on a tree or a pole, and from there the signal will be sent to the receiver box that is safely mounted inside your home or office to notify you of the arrival. The sensor, or probe, will pick up vehicles driving 10-12 feet from where it’s positioned.
The driveway alarm kit features a weatherproof transmitter that can be positioned outdoors. The device features 4 form C relay and 1 12VDC outputs, as well as 4 different tone options for alerts in 4 different zones of your property. You can also set a 5 minute exit delay to ensure that there are no notifications about your own departure from the property. The transceiver can communicate messages to the receiver using up to a ½ mile radio range.
