Power Up Fleet Efficiency with the Right Harness
To ensure a seamless install, TrackPort plug-in trackers require an OBD-II port for power and to receive engine data. While OBD-II ports are standard on almost all cars and light-duty trucks manufactured after 1996, other ports are more standard on trucks and other heavy-duty vehicles. These include J1939, J1708 and RP1226, and we offer a full range of Y-Harnesses for to perfectly fit these connections.
Seamless Integration for Heavy-Duty Fleets
Whether you're an owner-operator or managing dozens of trucks, installing telematics shouldn’t slow you down. That’s why we’ve made integration effortless. Our TrackPort-compatible Y-Harnesses are built to match your vehicle’s ports – OBD-II, J1939, J1708, and RP1226 — no tech headaches, no second-guessing.
Engineered for Durability and Performance
Our TrackPort Y-Harnesses and Extension Cables are rugged and provide reliable connectivity. Built with stranded 20AWG wire, PVC jacketing, and UL-certified copper, they withstand demanding conditions and have extended lifespans. Integrated strain relief enhances durability while overmolded connectors offer IP67 dust and moisture protection. Right-angled OBD2 connectors allow for neat securing. Every harness is thoroughly tested to ensure quality, providing a seamless and long-lasting connection.

Frequently Asked Questions about the EON GPS Tracker
What are the key features of the tracker?
Some key features include long battery life, rugged construction for durability in harsh environments, and remote monitoring capabilities via a user-friendly interface.
What sets it apart from other tracking devices on the market?
The tracker stands out for using both GPS and Wi-Fi signals to provide accurate location updates. GPS uses satellites to find your location, but obstacles like buildings can make it less accurate. Wi-Fi positioning steps in when GPS isn't reliable, using nearby Wi-Fi signals and a database of access points to estimate your location until GPS is back on track.
How does it attach to the vehicle I’m tracking?
You may need the magnetic mounting kit when placing the unit beneath an asset. Ensure the sticker faces downward, towards the ground, and is positioned close to the edge of the asset. For tracking large containers, mount the device with the sticker facing upward, towards the sky, to receive a GPS signal.
How long will the battery last?
The Eon's battery lasts an astonishing 5 YEARS when you set your device to send a location ping every 12 hours. Learn more about GPS tracking intervals.
Can I adjust the tracking intervals?
Yes! Custom tracking can be set at 60 seconds, 3 minutes, or 5 minutes by contacting your BrickHouse representative. Please note that this customization may result in reduced battery life.
Can it withstand harsh environmental conditions?
Yes, the tracker is built to withstand extreme temperatures, moisture, and other challenging conditions, making it suitable for indoor, outdoor, and industrial environments.
What is the range of the tracker?
Our GPS trackers connect to 4G networks, allowing you to track it across the US, North America, and countries across the globe.
Is there a fee for activating this device?
There is no additional fee required to activate this device.
How can I monitor my assets using the tracker?
You can monitor your assets through our user-friendly online platform or mobile app. You can download our mobile tracking app to review your tracker’s movement and locations. The app is compatible with Android and iOS devices.
How much is the subscription fee?
The Basic Plan, with 15-minute location updates, costs $24.99 per month, while the Plus Plan, offering 5-minute updates, is priced at $34.99 per month, and the Premium Plan, featuring 1-minute updates, is available for $44.99 per month—all billed quarterly. Please see the Service Plan tab for details.
What does the subscription fee cover?
The subscription fee provides your GPS tracker with cellular service that allows it to report its location back to you. Your subscription fee covers the cellular data service and the cloud software required to access the information. Learn more about how a GPS tracker communicates.
Why is cellular service needed for a GPS tracker?
While a GPS tracker uses satellites to identify its location, it must use cellular service to communicate the location back to the user. Cellular service is the most effective option for use in populated areas. If you are trying to track in rural areas, wilderness areas, or in the middle of the sea or desert, we recommend exploring our selection of Satellite GPS trackers.
Do I need to use a SIM card or sign up for service with a cell phone company?
This is not necessary. The BrickHouse Security service plan includes everything you need.
Can I cancel the service anytime? Is there a contract?
Yes, you can cancel the service at any time. There is no contract involved. You can call us at 800-654-7966.
Will I receive text alerts to let me know when the tracker moves?
You can set up text message alerts to notify you as soon as the unit begins moving.
What types of alerts does this tracker send?
This device can be programmed to send alerts when the device begins traveling faster than a predetermined speed or when it crosses a preset boundary or geofence. Learn more about using GPS geofences.
Does this tracker work internationally?
This tracker functions internationally, covering North America, including the U.S., Canada, Mexico, and countries worldwide. Coverage options are available based on the selected plan. For more details, you can visit the Service Plan tab.
