5.8 GHz Wireless Cameras | | Tired of getting interference and poor, staticy signals with your wireless surveillance system?
The 5.8GHz frequency system provides all the advantages of a wireless system without the signal problems.
The 2.4GHz frequency is cluttered with WLAN 802.11b/g, Bluetooth devices, Cordless phones and Microwave ovens, creating unwanted interference and bottlenecks. 5.8GHz wireless systems avoid interference from the increasingly crowded 2.4GHz radio band as well as being ideal for the wireless transmission of both audio and video signals.
With a 5.8 GHz Wireless Camera and a 5.8 GHz Receiver connected to a monitor or wireless recording device with a built-in 5.8 GHz receiver you can expect signal range from to 300 feet Range to upwards of 1000 feet.
Complete your ultimate wireless solution with outdoor LAN access point for up to 30 miles of incredible wireless freedom. |

Traditional Wireless Signals Are Overcrowded. Make Room For 5.8 GHz
Over the last few years it has become evident that security cameras and digital video recording devices are here to stay as an essential part of our security, safety and prevention. No matter where we go, they are around us and here to stay. But how effective are all of these high tech cameras and recording devices. With the saturation of the airwaves by cell phones, cordless phones, Wi-Fi, etc… current camera systems, do, at times experience interference by the overcrowded airwaves using the 1.2 GHz and 2.4 GHz products.
Recently, John Stanford a local jewelry store owner in Arkansas was robbed at gunpoint with over $78,000 worth of merchandise stolen. Luckily for him, he wasn't’t harmed and the thieves were caught on his wireless camera system. Or so he thought. “After the robbery, when the police showed up, I figured I would show them the recorded video. But when I hit the play button, all of the video was all static with interference. We had nothing.” stated the exasperated Mr. Stanford. Unfortunately for Mr. Stanford, he was using one of the older 2.4ghz wireless systems. What was cutting edge 5 years ago, is now plagued by the endless array of products also using the same wireless frequency. This inference causes static and wavy lines all over the video to be recorded on any surveillance system, making everything unusable.
Mr. Stanford figured there has to be other solutions out there. And there is an innovation in the field. After a long exhausting search, John was finally brought to Brickhouse Security who brings the new 5.8 Ghz wireless cameras to the public. 5.8 Ghz is fast becoming the new standard in surveillance. Since 5.8 Ghz operates on a separate frequency than most electronics out there, interference and limited range is a thing of the past. After speaking with one of the security experts at Brickhouse Security, John purchased one of the 5.8 Ghz Wireless Camera Systems. It was a good thing he did. Not more than 2 months after the first robbery, he was hit again. But this time, when the police came to review all of the footage, all the suspects were there, in crisp color video images. Mr. Stanford explained to the reporters, “ I’m so happy I got this new system up and running before this happened. Everyone was captured on video in full color with every detail. I could even see the color of their eyes.” About 3 hours after the incident, the suspects were apprehended and charged. All stolen valuables were returned.
“It was so easy to install, and use. I would have lost everything again without the wireless camera system and help from those guys at Brickhouse Security”.
