By default, your EON SolarTrack is configured to report:
- Basic Plan: 1 report per day
- Plus Plan: 2 reports per day (every 12 hours)
- Premium Plan: 4 reports per day (every 6 hours) + 15-minute reporting while in motion.
Under average conditions of 4 hours of sunlight per day, and mounted with the solar panel facing the sky or vertical and unobstructed, the battery life lasts effectively perpetually* with no manual charging required.
* Lithium batteries have a natural lifespan, and the internal batteries for EON SolarTrack are engineered to provide up to 10 years of operations. If the battery falls below 20%, the EON SolarTrack switches to “Low Battery Mode” and reports once per day. This allows the solar panel to charge its internal battery. Once sufficient battery is reached (usually with 8 hours of sunlight), normal operations will resume. EON SolarTrack is designed to not require manual charging with a cable.

How does it attach to the vehicle I’m tracking?
EON SolarTrack can be mounted on the side of a container or trailer using the included 4x self-drilling mounting screws or with zip-ties (not included). Position the tracker so that the solar panel has clear exposure to direct sunlight (at least a 90° view of the open sky) and is not covered (e.g. by metal, containers, leaves or other debris). This ensures strong signal strength, reliable charging, and accurate real-time reporting.
How long will the battery last?

Can I adjust the tracking intervals?
Yes! Custom tracking can be set at 60 seconds, 3 minutes, or 5 minutes by contacting your BrickHouse representative. Please note that this customization may result in reduced battery life.

What does the subscription fee cover?

Why is cellular service needed for a GPS tracker?
While a GPS tracker uses satellites to identify its location, it must use cellular service to communicate the location back to the user. Cellular service is the most effective option for use in populated areas. If you are trying to track in rural areas, wilderness areas, or in the middle of the sea or desert, we recommend exploring our selection of Satellite GPS trackers.
Do I need to use a SIM card or sign up for service with a cell phone company?
This is not necessary. The BrickHouse Security service plan includes everything you need.
