iProtect 3-Band RF Detector

The iProtect 3-Band RF Detector is a compact, hand-held device that enables you to detect bugs of any type in your space. With three types of detection displayed on an easy-to-read bar graph histogram, it’s easy for you to see exactly the types of signals you’ve detected.

This portable RF bug detector also allows you to set an alarm to reject background noise to a certain threshold, meaning you can program it so that you’ll only detect from at or above the frequency set. This gives you control over what kind of devices you’re able to detect on a given sweep. (If you think you’re being bugged by a wireless device, you can program the detector to only look for devices in that range.)

The iProtect 1216 bug detector is capable of checking for 3 different registers including:

• VHF/UHF 50-700 MHz

• Mobile and Wireless 700 MHz- 3 GHz

• Wireless 3-12 GHz

The device scans for all types of RF transmissions, including analog, digital, audio, and video. It uses a built-in directed microwave antenna for accuracy and features shock-resistant CNC milled duralumin housing to keep the device from breaking or being damaged from rough use. A rechargeable Li-Ion battery gives you up to 6 hours of functional battery life on a single charge.
