Featuring a 1/2.8" CMOS sensor and a 2.8mm fixed lens, this compact 2MP Mobile Fixed HDCVI Wedge Camera can record video at resolutions up to 1920 x 1080 at 30 fps in a 110° field of view. It has IR LEDs for night vision with an effective range of up to 66'. With IR illumination, detailed images can be captured in low light or total darkness. The camera's Smart IR technology adjusts the intensity of the camera's infrared LEDs to compensate for the distance of an object. A built-in microSD card slot allows for onboard storage of footage, while a built-in microphone enables capture of audio which is transmitted over coax along with the video.
The hardware of the mobile camera is certified to EN50155 to avoid image distortions or connection failures. The camera uses an M12 aviation connector to connect to an MVR for an added level of stability. Designed for use in vandal-prone indoor or outdoor environments, the camera is housed in an IP67- and IK10-rated enclosure. The compact housing blends in with most vehicle interiors and minimizes interference with other installed devices. The design also minimizes vibration and shock from normal driving situations.
