With the TS-EC2480U R2's removable motherboard drawer, IT administrators have easier access to upgrading and installing components such as RAM and internal cache.
The TS-EC2480U R2 supports SATA III hard drives driving over 3,700 MB/s throughputs and 410,000 IOPS. It is powered by a 3.5 GHz Intel Xeon E3-1246 v3 quad-core processor and 4GB of DDR3 ECC RAM to run iSCSI and virtualization applications as well as the QTS operating system. You can utilize the QNAP OS to manage the numerous drives in a RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, or JBOD mode.
