The TVS-671-i3-4G-US 6-Bay High-Performance Turbo vNAS from QNAP is a powerful NAS storage solution designed for I/O-intensive tasks, mission-critical business applications, and fast-growing data storage needs. It is also able to perform real-time 4K and 1080p video transcoding to convert videos to universal formats that can be played on most PCs, mobile devices, and Smart TVs with 7.1 channel surround sound via HDMI output. The TVS-671-i3-4G operates using a 250W power supply and 100-240 VAC at 50/60 Hz. It is compatible with Windows, Mac, Linux, and UNIX.
The TVS-671-i3-4G-US is powered by a 3.5 GHz Intel Core i3-4150 Dual-Core processor, which will allow you to run multiple functions simultaneously. The built-in 4GB of DDR3 RAM will allow quick access to frequently used files and programs. This NAS's RAM is configured as 2 x 2GB and may be expanded up to 16GB (2 x 8GB) using the dual memory slots. Network connectivity is achieved via the 4 x Gigabit Ethernet ports, which may be expanded to 8 x Gigabit Ethernet ports or 4 x 10 Gigabit Ethernet ports and 4 x Gigabit Ethernet ports using the optional dual-port 10GbE and 1GbE network card.
This 6-bay enclosure has the ability to house 3.5" or 2.5" SATA III 6 Gb/s and SATA II 3 Gb/s hard drives or SSDs. To support both drive formats, screws are included to accommodate both drive sizes. Using a 2 x 10GbE configuration, data throughput of the TVS-671-i3-4G can reach read speeds of up to 2,340 MB/s and 146,045 IOPS and write speeds of up to 2,150 MB/s and 113,747 IOPS. Using the 3 x USB 3.0 ports and 2 x USB 2.0 ports, this QNAP can be connected to other QNAP devices as well as other external drives.
