The TVS-871U-RP 8-Bay NAS Enclosure supports SATA 6 Gb/s hard drives driving over 3,300 MB/s throughput and 172,000 IOPS. It is powered by a 3.5 GHz Intel Core i3-4150 Dual-Core Haswell processor, helping to greatly enhance the efficiency of CPU-consuming tasks and serving more concurrent tasks at the same time. It operates using the QTS 4.1 operating system, is 10GbE-ready, delivers strong performance, and supports cross-platform file sharing, comprehensive backup solutions, and iSCSI and virtualization applications. The TVS-871U-RP-i3-4G follows a 2U rackmount form factor and is powered by a 3.5 GHz Intel Core i3-4150 Dual-Core processor, which will allow you to run multiple applications simultaneously. While network connectivity is achieved using the four Gigabit Ethernet ports, the TVS-871U-RP-i3-4G can be expanded to have a total of eight Gigabit Ethernet ports.
This 8-bay enclosure has the ability to natively house both 3.5" and 2.5" SATA III and SATA II hard drives or SSD drives. To support both drive formats, screws are included to accommodate each drive size. The TVS-871U-RP-i3-4G can reach a throughput of up to 3,300+ MB/s and 172,000+ IOPS. Using the four external USB 3.0 and four 2.0 ports, this QNAP NAS can be connected to other QNAP devices as well as other external drives. Internally, there are two mSATA ports for on-board read caching using separately sold mSATA flash modules. Also, the TVS-871U-RP-i3-4G is validated with military level FIPS 140-2 AES 256-bit encryption, helping to prevent sensitive business data from unauthorized access and breaches.
