How long will the battery last?
The camera features a 90-day standby battery. It records for up to 10 hours on a single charge or, you can use the included AC adapter to eliminate power concerns.
How long do I need to charge it?
Before first use, we suggest charging the device for 6 hours. While charging, the LED indicator will glow orange and will turn green when the battery is full.
Does this camera record sound?
The camera does not record sound. Covert cameras designed for automatic activation cannot record audio. It complies with the federal wiretapping law. Learn more about why hidden cameras don’t record audio.
Where is the camera lens on the Camscura Tilt?
The lens is on the piece that tilts, making it easy for you to adjust the camera angle when setting up the camera.
How do I download the free software to change the recording settings?

What is the difference between surveillance, on-the-go, and custom modes?
The surveillance mode is for continuous recording. On-the-go is for motion detection recording, and the custom mode allows you to use our free downloadable software to set your custom settings for the camera.
Can this camera be viewed from an app? Does this camera stream live?
No, there is no smartphone or tablet app for this camera. It records directly to an SD card (available separately) and does not have live streaming capabilities.
How do I program the camera’s settings?
The camera can be programmed on a computer while plugged in with a USB cord. Please use the free, downloadable BHS Cam Setup Tool that comes for use with the camera.
To save space, can you set this camera to take pictures instead of the video when it detects motion?
The camera records video only. You can get an SD card of larger storage size. You can also set up overwrite recording to automatically delete the oldest videos to make room for new ones if storage is a concern for you.
What is the largest size SD card I can use with this camera?
You can use up to 128GB sd cards.
